The ZISC spin-off company Futurae has won all three stages of Swiss Venture Kick final and secured 130’000 CHF of financing. Futurae is a Zurich-based IT security company with a focus on novel authentication solutions. The team is pictured below.
Futurae provides a suite of authentication solutions, including the novel Sound-Proof technology, originally invented at ETH Zurich. Sound-Proof uses smartphones and ambient sounds for secure and convenient second-factor authentication. The video below demonstrates the technology.
