Data protection and security are of utmost importance to SIX as the main infrastructure provider for the Swiss financial center. To be even nearer to the beating heart of science, a twelve-year research cooperation agreement with Zurich Information Security and Privacy Center (ZISC) at the ETH was sealed yesterday, making SIX an active cooperation partner for future projects and developments. The commitment of SIX and other partners, in conjunction with the ETH Zurich Foundation, will allow the ZISC to operate its OpenLab, which aims to promote the central exchange of ideas and information between researchers at the ETH and partners in business. SIX will be actively involved with the ETH-ZISC OpenLab.
The partnership between SIX and the ZISC center was signed on November 14, 2016. Below is a picture from the signing ceremony.
