TLS-N from ZISC researchers makes websites “blockchain-ready”

ZISC researchers Hubert Ritzdorf, Karl Wust, Arthur Gervais, Guillaume Felley, Srdjan Capkun have released TLS-N, an extension of TLS that enables the seamless integration of non-repudiation between arbitrary parties within TLS. TLS-N allows the generation of privacy-preserving, non-repudiable, non-interactive proofs for the contents of a TLS session. TLS-N provides a trusted data relay. Therefore, it allows any HTTPS website to act as a blockchain oracle and anyone to act as a trusted web archive. This is because TLS-N proofs guarantee data authenticity.
